Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Pileus Solutions LLC ("we", "us") about your use of DAW: An Idle Adventure ("the Game"). By signing in, you accept them.

Who may play

You must be at least 13 years old. If the law where you live sets a higher age for agreeing to online services on your own, you must meet that age instead, or have your parent or guardian agree on your behalf.

Your account

Your account is tied to your email address, and anyone with access to that mailbox can sign in as you, so keep it secure. Accounts are personal: do not share, sell or transfer them. You may delete your account at any time from Settings, and doing so permanently erases your characters and progress.

Fair play

The Game is a competitive game, so please do not:

• use bots, scripts, automation, modified clients or any tool that plays for you;
• exploit bugs instead of reporting them, or interfere with the servers;
• choose character names that are offensive, impersonate someone, or infringe someone's rights;
• harass other players, or attempt to access accounts that are not yours.

Character names are visible to other players on leaderboards and in shared locations, so choose accordingly. We may change or remove a name that breaks these rules.

In-game items and currency

Gold, elixirs, resources and every other in-game item are part of the Game, not property. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and may not be traded outside the Game. We may adjust, rebalance or reset them as part of normal game development. If we ever introduce paid purchases, they will be handled through the platform's own billing and covered by additional terms.

Availability

We work to keep the Game running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we may take it down for maintenance, change how it works, or discontinue it. Progress may be affected by balance changes.

No warranties

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Game will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that defects will be corrected, that the servers are free of harmful components, or that anything you get from playing will meet your expectations. You play at your own risk.

Ending the agreement

You may stop playing and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Except where the breach is serious or repeated, we will tell you why.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any damage arising out of or connected with your use of the Game, or with being unable to use it. This includes direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damage, loss of data, lost profits or goodwill, damage to your device, and the loss of in-game progress, gold or items, whether the claim is based on contract, negligence or anything else, and whether or not we had been told such damage was possible. We are likewise not responsible for events outside our reasonable control, or for what other players do.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and your statutory rights are unaffected.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when. If a change matters to you, we will announce it in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to play after that means you accept it.
